Can somebody examine what subspecies of this Star?

Well, It looks like a "Star." Couldn't you ask the person that you bought the star from. I think that they all look alike until they are older. ~C

P.S. Maybe you should show take a photo of his/her plastron, to rule out Burmese Star. More experienced owners will chime in shortly.

Indian or Sri Lankan.
Both look alike (and the same species) but the Sri Lankans grow bigger.

Haha, yes, if people want to buy True Sri Lankan , they should purchase from True Sri Lankan tortOise breeders. Yes, I can proudly say I breed True Sri Lankan Star tortoise and feel lucky to acquire this animal! I am happy to provide good quality animal to any potential buyers! I think many people have confusion about the different about India and Sri Lankan star. I was confused as well and purchase many so-called Sri Lankan Star! However I never mean those sellers want to cheat on anyone! Yes, true Sri Lanka adult is not common to see for sell in the market.
