Burmese stars. Will add a pic when they placed. Needed a place big enough and “deep enough” for them to lay if they choose to. Too cold out right nowNice. What's going in there?
@JeffR I love it! Just a quick suggestion:
I would have installed the bolts hoding the window frame in the other way. Rounded head inside where tortoises can rub against them. Too much trouble to flip them around now?
By the time you get a good 12" of substrate for laying, the bolt ends may end up right where a female will incessantly swing her leg while digging as they most often tend to dig against a side. Also scraping their shell just moving about if any are that height.
I cut foam insulation board that is exactly the width of duct tape and duct taped the edges and it provides a lot of insulation and looks pretty sharp. You can spray paint it or cover that with a 8’ fitted picnic table cover.what abut heat insulation? metal conduct heat a lot faster than wood
Thie second picture has a fitted picnic table coverI cut foam insulation board that is exactly the width of duct tape and duct taped the edges and it provides a lot of insulation and looks pretty sharp. You can spray paint it or cover that with a 8’ fitted picnic table cover.
