how come i hear mixed reviews about Mazuri? or is that just in relation to it being used for Russian Torts? Im sure my RT would eat the T-Rex tortoise pellets i got him but ive read it's not good so i was kinda confused on the whole commercial food debate.

The "key" to any diet , is well balanced and mixed. Fibers, sugars, proteins all play a role in raising healthy captive tortoises. Plus with any additions they may be lacking , some commercial foods make it an easy way to " douse" aka. ( dust) up their easy meal, with any supplements ex. calcium, vitamans and meds with out them knowing ( or more readily excepted ) .
