So my 3 year old leopard tortoise has a pretty large indoor enclosure (the biggest i can provide) but it has no top. Now that winter's coming i want to cut down on the electric bill.
I'm just wondering if anyone has experience with using Styrofoam sheets as part of an enclosure. I already have the correct height on most of the walls of plywood and I'd like to put the light fixtures inside the enclosure. I could use plywood but i feel actual insulation would be the best for...... Insulating. And i could remove it easily to get inside the enclosure (which is why i don't have a top because i have another tortoise table above her) What do you guys think?

Here's my setup. The bottom enclosure is actually two older ones put together (a 5-5 square and 2-6 rectangle) i sometimes have a hard time getting to that back corner and would be impossible with a top that can't come out.
