When I want to subscribe to a thread, it does not work, it says

I just tried to use that feature at the bottom left of the thread and it told me the same thing. No clue whats up with it as I've never tried to do that before. I am though trying the subscribe feature when making a post. If that works, than thats the way to subscribe to a thread right now.

Sometimes when someone asks a question, I do not know the answer but would love to hear what the others have to say about it. So I subscribe to the thread and when someone replies, I receive an Email. I will continu to put them in my favorite to keep an eye on them :) I was just curious.

I just tried this myself and got the same error. I'll look into it, Isa. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

Hello :) Well I also have the same problem. Can nothing be done about it?
Often, I don't have anything constructive to contribute to a topic (being a newbie), but i'd still like to substribe without having to post first. ;)

Mina

Ok, this is strange. I subscribed to this thread (ticked the box while postig) and it still doesn't show in my CP-Subscriptions.
What am I doing wrong?

I still have the problem too.
Mina what I do until it works, I add the threads that I canot subscribe to in my favorites (it is at the bottom of the page "add thread to favorites" so it allows me to see what is going on in the thread :)

Isa, you've probably already told me 1,000 times but which browser are you using? Also, are you on Windows, Mac or Linux?
Can others pipe in to let me know how widespread the problem is?

Internet explorer 8, I just did the clearing thing and it all works now thanks.

That's the one thing I always recommend 1st when dealing with I.E.

It is not the first time I am clearing the cache and the problem was still there. But now it works so everything is cool ;)
