Hey guys! I can tell a Greek when I see one. I can tell when one greek doesn't look like another...but I would love to know how you tell some of the different, more common subspecies apart(not all of them! I understand there's a lot and it's not super clear cut). Major identifying traits to look for I suppose.
How are you guys IDing them as Ibera, gracea gracea, marokkensis, etc.
If you know the subspecies of your tort, feel free to post a picture of carapace and plastron with subspecies here, so I can compare and get a little more skilled in this area.
:)

If you go to the Greek section, Chris has written up a nice pictorial that helps us to I.D. the tortoise.

Thanks :)
I've seen the those. I guess I'm more wondering about telling subspecies of Greeks from one another. Ie. Ibera vs. Graeca, some of the more common subspecies. I can tell babies of different tesudo species apart, and I can more or less tell western, eastern and dalmatian hermanns apart.
