Hi, Im working on new cage set ups for our two tortoises (one sulcatta, one red foot) and looking for a different substrate to use on the bottom, I'd like to keep the cage to a natural look, so just wondering what everyone recommends or uses themselves for their sulcattas ?

For my indoor enclosure I just switched to shredded aspen. Very easy to spot clean!

Are they in seperate enclosures?? Both torts have different needs, but for sulcatas I use aspen just like Dee. But for redfoods I would use a mix of sand, peat moss, bed a beast, as redfoots need humidity. Others will come that know more about the redfoots as I don't have any.

I'm sorry, forgot about the redfoot. I just have my sulcatas on the aspen. No redfoots here!
