What would be the best substrate for a younger sulcata, about 7 inches, it would be for a large indoor enclosure, want them to be able to burrow and dig around yet be able to keep humidity up thanks

Coconut coir is my favorite. You buy it in bricks, reconstitute it with water, and can spray it down for humidity.

Red dirt or coco coir. U can mix it too to get the right consistency . You dont want to be too muddy or too light because if its too light itll easily gets into the eyes.
