3-for-web.gifThis is about the best site I can get for my tortoise in my garden :)
(Dad won't let me have it where I really want it!)

The pic was taken at about 5:30, if this makes a difference to the amount of light. I think it should get enough light throughout the day and there should be enough shade aswell.

Do you think this is a good place?
And does anyone know what the bush is in the corner? I have attatched a close up image :D

I would think it would be ok, but you need to make sure they have plenty of shade throughout the day.

I think it will be a great place also. Just make sure you have lots of hiding spots like Jen said so they can get out of the heat if they need to.

thanks :) the hiding and shade spots are fine, I already have a wooden hut thing I made filled with straw. I'll also be planting plenty of plants.

I was actually worried about it not being hot enough, so how many hours sun do they need?

sorry if it's a silly question but this is the first year he'll be going out properly. I'll still bring him in for night, I'm scared leaving him!

Thanks
