Sulcata (6months) tried to bite his own shell

Hi everyone, not sure whether this is an issue or not. These couple of days I found my sulcata tried to bite the edge of his shell. There’s no change in his enclosure temperature/humidity. He lives alone. I also didn’t found any visible wound. Has anyone ever encountered this before? Is it normal?

Ah thanks! I didn’t expect tortoises to be playful, I thought they are calm and only judge you from a far 🤣
