Hi everyone

My brother fed our sulcata a mushroom that was growing in our backyard today, pictured below. We are a little concerned about poisoning. Has anyone seen a mushroom like this before or fed their tortoise mushrooms?

If it were poisonous, what would be our next step.Screenshot_20220914-180203_Messages.jpg

If it's not human edible then its poisonous.
Soak daily for 1/2 hour in warm water and feed watery foods like romaine and cucumber along with her other foods.
Keep an eye on her for any changes for the bad.
Hopefully she didn't eat a lot of it.
How big is she?

There is nothing you can do about it now. Some mushrooms are deadly toxic, and others are harmless. Mushroom ID can be very difficult and confusing at times, even for people who study them. Wait and see. If the tortoise dies or stops eating, you will know why.
