sulcata coloration

Just got this little one today. She was neglected so I took her in. Much darker then my other. Anyone have one that is this dark on the shell? She was soaked and is eating fine, enjoying her heat right now.

Never seen one that dark...The eyes look sunken in I hope its not sick and does well for you..Very nice of you to take it..

He most likely was raised in a cool enviroment and needed to produce more melenin than usual to get warm.
I'm glad you've got him now. :)
