Hi guys

I got my sulcata about 2 months ago and I love him he's such a character!

I noticed earlier today that in the creases on his back legs and his neck appear to be cracked/flakey. He gets a bath every other day.

I know sulcatas aren't the easiest to look after and I just want to make sure that my little tort gets the best care

Any tips and advice would be very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

welcome to the forum!!! if he is a baby i would soak him everyday. whats his cages humidity? what substrate are you using? how hot is his cage? are you using a UVB bulb? what is his diet? we need a bit more info to determine why his skin is dry.

Thanks for the reply

He's about 18 months so still a baby.

He's in a viv with the wood chip substrate (recommended by the shop) the temp is about 85

He has a uv lamp during the day and a heat lamp on all the time. He has lettuce (not iceberg), grass, dandelion, cabbage and pellets. He gets out and about the house when I'm at home
