Hey everyone. My neighbor has a pet tortoise and I was wondering if she is healthy. The substrate used is Timothy hay in her den/sleeping area and a type of dark wood type of mixture. In the winter she has to be kept inside as it gets very cold (Huge problem at hand) she is growing out of her current home for winter but

Here's something for you to read... a lot depends on the actual size of the tort, age how it's kept now...the care of a small Sulcata is vastly different than one of an adult...so welcome, but we need more info..example, a small or baby Sulcata can't/won't eat hay, my adults ate only hay during the winter...so pictures would malso help...you'll get asked a lot of questions by others...here's that link...

and now I keep a small one here...in a hot humid environment...
so we need a lot of info...lol
