Got an early Christmas present today, that being my new pet Russian Tortoise. Her name if Fluffy, for those wondering. Thought I'd find a place where I could talk about her, and immediately find help if I need it.

Well Merry Christmas to you! Is this a gift you bought yourself or was Fluffy given to you? Did she come with a bow on her? I can honestly say, she is a gift that you will cherish for years to come. Is she your first tortoise?

My step mom found her at Pet Smart, my parents had been planning on getting her after Christmas, got her a bit earlier than planned while they were out shopping, and she did have a bow on her! I almost didn't notice she was there, the bow covered her back when I first saw her. xD She is my first tortoise as well, I've been looking into getting one for several months, so you can imagine my reaction to getting her early.

Sweet parents! So did you get a picture of her with her bow on? Heck folks will be coming in here soon asking you to post pictures, so you might as well do it if you can.

My little brother got a few when she first arrived, he hasn't gotten on his computer to fix them up and post them online yet though. I'll make sure to get some up as soon as he's done with that.

One quick question, all of my posts so far have been delayed in showing up. Is that an entire forum situation? Confused me a bit earlier when my thread didn't show up and then again when my posts took a bit of time to take up.
