Sylvia has been here 3 weeks now and she is doing pretty good, she has a great appetite and eats a variety of things including green hay. But she is very shy, she still closes up tight when she first sees me, if I hang around she eventually will come out and eat, but if I make a movement she closes up again. I know this will change with time I just wish it was spring instead of fall and there weren't any leaves on the big maple trees. And Walker my large male has not shown any signs of knowing that she is here,(which is a good thing).

She is an adult. Will probably take longer then just a few weeks. Babies can take upto a month, some more, some less. An adult, I would expect could be longer. Give it some time, shell probably come around. Not all will though.

She probably never had much human interaction, it might take her a bit longer.
