Some people uses tables like that. It would be better if you could get one that is bigger, 4x6 and it probably cheaper if you made your own. Higher sides makes it easier to add enough substrate so they can burrow and also to adjust lights and heat.

I agree with making your own, I built a huge indoor enclosure for about a hundred bucks.

Wow okay so how bout i buy a bookshelf , take out the shelfs , and get my joiner to build a small shade area and the rest I can just do myself ?

I made a Book Shelf tortoise table it was very easy. I bought a book shelve( 6x3) from a local yard sale. took the shelves out. Reinforced the backing, to make sure the substrate wouldn't fall out. I created a hide by cutting one of the shelves in half and then using the other shelf for the top of the hide. Clamp lamps easily clamp to the side and UV strip lamp easily goes across.
My total was...Book Shelve- $10 Screws $4 Hinges to make hide $3. I even bought (this is optional) a used ikea cupboard($20) on wheels to put my tortoise table on, this I also have storage for all tortoise related stuff.

So for under $40 I got a great stater setup. I can post pictures if you'd like

Oh wow I'd like to see a picture of that. ! I already spent a fortune on these tortoises so I'd like to see a bookshelf enclosure if you wouldn't mind :)
