Tap water?

I'm new so sorry if this has already been asked....
I put room temp filtered water from my fridge in Dobby"s(my sulcata) water dish but for soaking can I use straight tap water from the faucet?

It would depend where you are. I would say if you would not drink it your self then dont use it. I live in Phoenix, so there is no way i would use tap water.

i love that name dobby, thats my donkeys name i am a harry potter fan. i use tap water for my tortoises and i drink it also.

I have used straight Southern CA tap water for chelonians of all types since 1979. Still using it today on everything from brand new hatchlings to older adults.

haha thanks! I love Harry Potter :)
he seems fine using tap water. I only use it to soak him.... he gets filtered water in his water dish thouh haha :)
