Tap water?

I'm new so sorry if this has already been asked....
I put room temp filtered water from my fridge in Dobby"s(my sulcata) water dish but for soaking can I use straight tap water from the faucet?

It would depend where you are. I would say if you would not drink it your self then dont use it. I live in Phoenix, so there is no way i would use tap water.

i love that name dobby, thats my donkeys name i am a harry potter fan. i use tap water for my tortoises and i drink it also.

I have used straight Southern CA tap water for chelonians of all types since 1979. Still using it today on everything from brand new hatchlings to older adults.

he seems fine using tap water. I only use it to soak him.... he gets filtered water in his water dish thouh haha

Tap is fine unless your area has a warning against you drinking it.
