When I first got ted, I built him an enclosure out of a bookshelf. It was an open top and I would spray it down every night trying to keep it humid. Ted wasn’t growing much so I joined this forum and realized I needed a better set up for him. I took the advice of @Tom and @Elohi and bought a garden bed enclosure with a plastic top that holds in humidity with some tweaking. I added mazuri, herbal hay and cactus pads to his diet. I also added a humidifier that runs a couple hours a day to increase humidity levels. Once I put him in an enclosure with the right temperatures and humidity levels, his growth rate increase by 5 times. He has been in this enclosure for 9 months now and is continuing to thrive. Thank you guys for your wisdom and expertise. Here is some photos of his progress.
