We have had him for 1 month as of today and since I haven't posted any new photo's of him I figured today would be good. The weather has not been great out here so he has been stuck inside.

He enjoys his hide very much, normally he is completly covered up by the coco coir.

Thanks Dean, we are following Tom's thread and using some of your food ideas. We have even gave him a mini lasagna that he enjoyed, lol

he looks great. Don't worry about the log hide. Andy won't go in it either at least not on his own. At night when I turn the lights out I put him in their since i've stuffed with with Spag moss and he'll stay in there all night until morning.

Tejas looks great!

Just a few update photo's of Tejas, he has grown some and although his shell is not as perfect as I like "trouble getting humidity right", he is happy and healthy.

He was 40 grams when he got him 4/2/2011 and as of today he is 132 grams.

He is gorgeous! Boulders shell is not perfect either, for the same humidity reasons I would guess. I have a hard time keeping the humidity up in AZ :) still looks great though!

You have a very good looking tort for sure!! I got Cooper when he was 2 months old and he was around 50 grams. He is now going on 8 months old and he has shot up to 310 grams! I don't know if his growth is normal or not, but he is getting big so fast. Have a good day!

Thank you... I keep him outside now and with the humidity we have here, his shell is looking better. I had the same issue with Vegas while I was raising him in Las Vegas, It was just so dry and keeping the humidity up was a battle.

I think that is a very good weight for Cooper, Tejas is about 6 months old. Also cooper may just be a fast grower and it means you are doing all the right things.

You have a great day as well..
