Temperature help

Hi all, Im getting my first ever hermanns in a few days and was wondering if you could tell me the temperature for the basking spot and the cool side please. Many thanks

Here is what I would do:

Basking spot of around 95-100. Cool side in the 70's. At night let the whole thing drop into the 60's.

Even better: Build a big safe outdoor enclosure, and put your tortoise outside whenever weather permits.

I'm too scared to build an enclosure,,I have raccoons,fox,hawks and many other predators..are baby hermanns under 1 year old safe outside?? I just don't feel right about that yet. Possibly when mine is older I will let him outside when I am with him,,other than that,too risky.
