Temps outside.

At what temp can I take my RT's outside for some sun? Today it is about 68-70 but I wasn't sure if it needs to be warmer then that or not. Thanks in advance.

If it is sunny and with no wind you are probably fine at 60 for a russian. Down low to the ground there is less wind and the walls of the enclosure should block the wind even more. Set a rock in the sun where your tortoise would be and check the temps with a temp gun. Even on a cool day, that rock, and your tortoise can still get pretty warm.

Thanks it is starting to get warmer out and I am sure our RTs are wanting to be outside in the heat!!! Well really just outside for that matter!
