The color yellow.

No. I have one tortoise that won't eat my yellow gazania flowers. He eats the purple lavatera flowers, but won't touch the gazanias or even dandelion flowers. Most of my others love the yellow flowers though. Red too.

I am fascinated by the diversity in personalities and preferences of tortoises. Obviously there are differences depending on the species.
But there are so many personal likes and dislikes among individuals of the same species, and even between siblings kept together, fed the same foods, and cared for by the same person.
We all know that torts are not the brightest lights in the chandelier, yet they have been blessed with such curiosity, perseverance, and decision making abilities.
Just amazing!
