errrrr... I hate this stuff. it's so hard to keep his hide from molding!!!!

my question- for the time being I have a tupperware container instead of the wood, is this ok for him until I can figure something else out?? Or will this suffice until he gets larger??

He seems to like it just as much, but im always so worried about him!

while im here also, Does anyone else's tortoise not eat the cuttlebone?? Leonard hasnt touched his once, he eats normally and I feed him a mix of Romaine, Spinach, Kale and Dandelion (on occasion) and fruits and veggies 2-3 days a week with soaked cat food with some calcium carbonate 1 day a week. I tried to switch to the cuttlebone since it seems like an easier way and he can eat it when he wants, but he never wanted it so I went back to the powder.

(the whole time i was typing cuttlebone, I was typing cuddlebone. I laughed a lot)

There is nothing wrong with a plastic container. I use the shoebox size with a door cut out. It works great and helps keep the humidity up.
