Weight as of now is approximately 40 grams. Read through the forums earlier and was interesting to see a couple of people using excel sheets as journals. I've started off with mine beginning today. Only includes the day of the week when he/she was weighed and pictures on that specific date.

Thanks! That is what I was told by the person whom I got him/her from (Indian Star, though not sure about the high yellow characteristic). Maybe experts can help with the exact ID.

Thank you! I am not sure if I should be worried about the weight. Was unable to find a sample journal or online database where I could track/refer growth reports with respect to weight/size.

Looks like an indian star to me. Just the 'skin' is a bit darker. The thickness of the yellow lines vary from tort to tort, but here in Thailand the thicker the line, the more desireable the tortoise is (especially if the yellow line is light-yellow... i guess that's what people call high yellow?).

Anyway, very nice tortoise! Shell looks really smooth My torty weighted 40g when she was about 7 month old (but more than doubled her weight in 4 months). I wouldn't worry about weight/size as long as she eats well and opens her eyes.

What's her name? Where did you get her from?

Thanks! I do not have a name for him/her yet. Got it from a person out here who wanted to sell it off because he had dogs at home. He just failed to do his research I guess.
