They have the animals ( quantity and quality too ) if they want to !!

Fantastic info Sam. All I have ever seen here is males grow slower. Must be the perfect tortoise environment of Borneo. Wonder why that is. Those are some nice specimens.

Maybe but nothing is 100% but the few other Radiated keepers here in Borneo have the same outcome - R male grow faster !!

Will ask next door ( Indonesian keeper ) see how they fare in term of growth rate .

May i ask a newbie type of question ? Anyway here goes , in Radiated world do Male max out larger or Female on average ? As most old , big , big size Radiated i have seen in Zoo or personal collection are Male !!

Like in sulcata ( male max out larger ) and in Indian star ( female are larger as adult ) of course there will be 1 or 2 odd-ball that grow huge regards of its sex !!

My goal is to breed these guys some day, lately them have been extremely active and all over the place. Ive got to keep a good eye on them
