Oh and the plant is an asparagus fern. What are you feeding them? Also what plant do you have in your enclosure there?
It's doing good, but it's still in a pot. The spider plant is also doing really well.Oh hey, does that do okay in there? With all the abuse? I'm still looking for a hardy, shady loving, moisture loving plant for my future tank I'm setting up.
Wow, I didn't know it liked shade that much! That is a shady plant... how's it feel about the humidity?Oddly enough, the other spider plant in the tank where the little hatchling will end up is not liking the UV bulb in there. It's uv burning it. I've hard to move it to a far corner... Weird.
The only UV the humid chamber plant gets is sunlight coming through the windows the first part of the day. I have no UV in the chamber.Wow, that second plant does look a little fried... is it that different, though? If the first plant is thriving inside the humid chamber (doesn't that have UV, too?) than maybe they thrive more when it's warmer and humid.
I think they can be overly cautious, which is okay, but some 'toxic' things are actually healthy and good in a varied diet. The tortoise table confused me because it said do not feed bell pepper, so I got worried and saw this thread. Good to know.
I offered it twice this week, they won't eat itI'm surprised! Peppers have sort of that fruit quality I think many tortoises would like as a treat.

They love fruit but I guess not a fan of the peppers! Oh well, I'll try again down the road
That's kind of strange. I would also think, RFs are a tropical species, they would like a little fruit.
IMO, bell peppers taste weird, so maybe they've got the same thought going on?
Do you water it with chlorinated water? Spider plants will turn brown and crispy from chlorinated water.Humid chamber spider plant (the one to the left is fake)
