RE: Theif!

Haha, that's funny. Little mischief-maker!

Please be VEEERY careful with your rat around the tortoise. My friend left the room for 10 mins while letting her tortoise and her rats run around, and came back to a headless tortoise (she has 2 rats). :(

That is so cute. As the other poster said, be careful, or you could also end up with a dead rat possibly too. But a very cute pic..

Oh god! That's awful! Hatter was on my shoulder and ran down my legs because he's fascinated with watching Walter, and he's never been out at the same time as Walter until today. I'm literally just out of the pictures, I was sitting on the ground with them because I didn't know how they'd behave together.

Oh, *whew* good. Glad you were right there (I guess that should be obvious to me, as you TOOk the pics, haha).
Anyway, glad you're being careful. :) Funny little set of pics!

For a while our cat kept jumping into the tort table to bask under the heat lamps. We finally broke him of that. Thankfully he has NO hunting instinct, he is all indoors, and once he got outside, and there was a wee baby bird on the deck, and he walked up to it, sniffed it, and walked on. I almost saw him shrug...

Haha, I grew up in the country, I've seen what a rat can do to a chicken, and I have also been bitten by Walter, so all around I'm pretty cautious.

Hatter is obsessed with Walter, especially when Walter is being soaked, he just sits perfectly still staring at him, it's the only time he is actually still. Today he ran over and sat on the rim of Walters tub and would put his front paws on top of Walter, it was pretty funny, maybe he was trying to look noble?

After I'd taken the first set of pictures Hatter decided that Walter obviously wanted to play tag with him, he kept running at Walter sideways and then racing off. I think he's lonely without other rats. Luckily for him he gets a surprise either tomorrow or Monday! I'm seriously hoping someone gets the reference of Hatter and Charlie.
