This is Precious. She is a pure adult West Santa Cruz Giant Tortoise Chelonoidis porteri. She is the sweetest tortoise. As soon as she saw me taking this picture this morning, she immediately walked over to me and nudged my hand to get me to pet her.

That is awesome! I got involved with galaps about 3 years ago. They have been awesome to work with. None of mine are that size but they are all extremely personable and they are definitely an awesome breed to work with. I’m am trying to build a group I have 5 males, 2 females, and 2 that I am yet to have sexed. Thank you for all the work you do with the species.
