Well it took my whole Sunday up the other day, but finally got all the privacy screen on!😂

It’s nothing extravagant, but it’s the start of her own dedicated space for the summer, a working progress🥰
My next step is to start creating visual barriers with some potted plants, and they can be moved to go along the fence once it’s packed up for the year.
I built it today to be 7x13ft, but we can utilise the fence to make it around 7x20ft at some point. It’s positioned quite nicely having half shade half sun, she always loves the sunshine😊we’ve also got a cameo tarp to use as a shade cloth for when it gets hotter, sometimes the fence isn’t enough depending where the sun is.

Again I know it’s very simple for someone who created the ‘visual inspiration’ thread🥲but we’re just not in the climate for her to use an outdoor space enough to go all out(I probably would in my own garden, but I can understand why they don’t want to take up a big chunck of theirs year round) its a temporary pop up area that has to be moved around easily, and it’s not my garden so I need to keep it relatively simple.
I’d wouldn’t go this basic for a permanent living space, but there’s still more stuff to add, and it’s working quite nicely for the limited time she gets to use it(it’s not always sunny for long because of where the garden is situated)
Some plants will definitely snazz it up a bit, I’m gonna keep my eye out for a pvc pipe off-cut to make a tunnel or two, and maybe some garden edging to create more visual barriers, still plenty of time to get it looking more exciting with more enrichment, I’m sure I’ll post pics as it progresses🙂
I’m glad she finally has a less hands on approach during her garden time🐢💚

Well done ! I recommend you get a couple of hostas in a pot and place around , they will provide cover and shade.

Plantain lilies https://g.co/kgs/vC2Ri2d
Or hardy Hibiscus both good for UK. They will die in winter and regrow next year but nice to look at.

Scored two cheap hostas yesterday, they’ve been a bit nibbled by caterpillars lol, but I’m going to repot them and raise them up so she can’t reach, hopefully they’ll grow nice and big😊
