It seems it was just yesterday when I got these tiny torts, so I thought I could share how they've grown!

Great looking gang of redfoots!

They are so cute and also start showing some distinct personalities. Mr.Pipsi is a true explorer, likes to go places, very bold tort. I think he might be a male for some reason, but I might be wrong. Berry is a little neurotic tort, not bold at all, she is the most timid one, hence I think she is a girl :) Sunny and Dude are sort of mellow ones...I guess we will see what their gender will turn out to be. But I am amazed how distinct and interesting their personalities are.

They also like to sleep together, even if they have different hide outs and have an option where to sleep. The group appears to be very social, always hang out together.

This is Dude. I got him from the commercial breeder, I think "turtles and tortoises" or something like that?

You see on the first picture he was kind of pale/orangy from the very beginning but did not show any marbling back then, I think it really started last year or so.

Dude had an interesting story. He got very sick just few weeks after I got him (see my old thread: http://www.tortoiseforum.org/post-234203.html?mode=threaded#pid234203), and I thought I am going to lose him. Took him to a vet, he could not find anything wrong but gave us antibiotics. I only gave few shots, but I think it was soaks that saved him. Nice folks on this forum suggested baby food soaks with calcium and I used it on him for like a month or so, and he made it!
