I made this to welcome Chuck back home from the Vet's. It's a crust of Mazuri filled with rehydrated Timothy hay and topped with TNT (nutrients).

The recipe calls for 40 grams of Mazuri (lightly soaked) and 25 grams of Timothy hay pellets (soaked very well).

I am glad everyone got a smile from seeing this pie. It didn't look like this for long. Before Chuck will eat it I had to mix it all together. He never gets Mazuri without something added to it. Usually it is timothy hay (rehydrated pellets), or fresh cut Bermuda, sometime diced cactus from the pieces he has left behind in his pen. The ends of cactus pads or pieces that were just too thick for him are great (when diced) to add to Mazuri for additional fiber.
