Topsoil? and plants?

Ok i just bought 6 bags of topsoil at menards for my tortoise table and tank. It was 1.69 a bag and made sure it did have fertilizer and chemicals in it. Is that all i need to know? My bigger leopard thinks its funny to eat the bigger dirt balls also i take it my water dish is going to be pitch black everday lol?? also what kind of plants should i put in the table if any that are good from menards that wont hurt or kill them

Perhaps mix in some of the spagham moss and regular clean dirt with the topsoil---and kinda press it down to give a firm ground to walk on (not pack it down solid but just lightly press down in most areas)....I am not great on advising about live plants in an indoor enclosure....I personally prefer (so far ) the silk plants so the little ones can hide....

Others here will have more opinions and advise I am sure....

THanks i was thinking more rocks than plants idk on the plant part...

Aloe works quite well safe to eat fairly hardy and mine likes to climb in it
