Anyone know of a vendor that carries a fair amount and all at a good price?! I'm looking for a good vendor for lights/fixtures, heating pads, substrates, accessories...

When purchasing lights, fixtures, substrate, etc. its always best to go to a home improvement store and nursery. When you buy supplies at a pet shop or from a reptile vendor, you pay a very high price. For instance, you can buy a clamp fixture for the light at Lowe's or Home Depot for about $6 to $10, while the same fixture at a pet store will cost from around $15 to $30. You can buy big bags of substrate at a nursery for around $30 while a 1 cu ft bag will cost you from $8 to $10 at a reptile pet store.

I like to get most stuff from the hardware store. For things I can't get there, I like tortoisesupply.com and LLL Reptile.

I agree with both Yvonne and Tom, but sometimes Amazon.com has good deals, especially if you're a Prime member and receive free 2-day shipping.
