Tortiose injury?

I was soaking my tortoise Yuri this afternoon and I found this on his neck is this something I should take him to the vet immediately or is this how tortoises heal from injuries. If this isn't an injury at all please someone let me know what this is.

It might be some kind of bite. Sometimes flies lay eggs and it looks sort of like that (bot fly). You can just do normal first aid like what you would use on your own body, but keep an eye on it. If it looks like its getting infected you'll need to go to the vet.

You can clean it with a little Betadine and then apply a triple antibiotic ointment. He should be fine.
