Tortoes having some problem

Any one can help tortoies is not able to remove white substance out is it harmfull

Where is this white stuff coming from? a pic would help.

If your tortoise is straining to expel a white substance, you are probably seeing a stone. The tortoise should be taken to the vet. In the meantime, put it into some warm water and position a light over one end of the pan to keep it warm.
