Tortoise Ages

This thread's purpose is for everyone to input his tortoise/s' age and photo and see which users have the oldest, or newest turtles as pets.

Ok I start first. I am attaching a photo of mine. It is a male Testudo Hermani Hermani, lives in Malta and is 22 years old.

This is Bo (The Bigger One) last summer. He was hatched in 2000. He weighs appx. 100lbs now.

Basil and Sage... Algerian Testudo graeca graeca...

They have been with me for 2 years now... before that they roamed around a ladies garden for 50 years...

I have been told they weren't quite adult when they came into the country... so the age has been estimated at 60 years old...

I've posted this one before in another thread. This is 20 year old Dudley at appx. 100lbs, and a full grown Russian female just behind him.

hahahah Yvonne that is classic ! I love the size difference...amazing....a fully grown Russian behind Dudley. What a cute nae as well....he's just lovely!

That's so cool! I keep telling my fiance it's ok if we get a dog if we get a tortoise bigger than it at the same time. hehe
