My tortoise Franklin just passed away today. Ive had him for almost 14 years and he within the past month has started sleeping a lot and eating less. I thought he was going through another cycle of brumation. It was nice yesterday so i took him outside in the sun for a while to see if it would help him and today looking in his enclosure i thought his eyes looked different. He was sprawled out like he was sleeping and i touched one of his legs and he didnt move. I picked him up and the same thing, thats when i knew. I dont know what i could have done differently or how i could have helped him. Sharing him makes me feel better in a way.
