He had a greenhouse top over the cinder blocks. It was just so f'n sad. LOL.Yeah I changed plans for now. And I was going to put a cage over top, no way would I just use cinderblocks. But that’s at least a year away

I love small turtles. We have a box turtle that comes over in the summers. Unfortunately my first one is a big one.lol I was gonna sink it and put hardware cloth under but I have a year or so before them. I am thinking bins for this year. Little bit only hatched in October

Almost 3 years old. He hatched March 5th.
Maybe @turtlesteve can guide you on this. I remember him having used the water methodI misremembered, most keep them aquatic for 12-18 months so he will move to terrestrial next spring. Which means my current debate is do I upgrade the enclosure. I know often hatchlings are kept in smaller enclosures
I need to measure but 2-3” , I would say. It only hatched in October. Currently enclosure is 36x18x12How big is the current enclosure, and how big is the baby? Depends on preference. I wouldn’t go terrestrial before about 3” and I wouldn’t stay wet past 4” or so. So somewhere in that range is where you would transition. Planted terrarium is great if you can manage to keep the plants alive.
