I couldn't tell if it was a sully with mbd and a flat shell or a desert. I see long nails.

I can't tell what it is either. It has the light skin of a sulcata, but I don't know. Its not a Russian. I hope it finds a good home.

I also emailed. Told them it wasn't a Russian and asked if they could clean him up and post more pics. Hopefully someone can get him. Thinking its a Russian, no wonder he's in bad shape

I think it's a desert tortoise. I'll email them and warn them it's illegal to sell them.

I did..

I told them I would give them the $20 asking fee for it's "supplies" and just adopt the tort.

I'm not surprised. In my email to them I warned them that if an officer of the DFG was reading the ads and saw him trying to sell a desert tortoise he could be subject to a fine up to $10,000.
