I have a one month old leopard tortoise who is very active, eats, goes potty often, drinks, ect. I got him about 4-5 days ago from a local breeder. I've noticed he almost never goes to his cool side unless he decides he wants to explore and climb his humid hide then he goes straight back to his warm side with his basking rock. His cool side is 80-82 degrees 80-90 humidity. His warm side is 100-110 degrees on his basking rock, 89-95 degrees overall with same humidity. Anyone know why he favors his warm side? Could he be sick?
