Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help, I have a ramp in my Hermann's inclosure but I'm worried its to steep. He can get up fine but he seems to just slide down. I want to put a grip on it to help with his nails but worried incase it damages his shell when sliding. I'm also worried of the substrate hurting him when he lands? Any ideas? Or is he just having fun.

The ramp is the back of two kitchen tiles with some sides attchedDSC_0012.JPG, and substrate is orchid bark.

His feet look fine but he usually wears them down outside and as it winter I feel he won't get a chance to do that, as I'm not putting him outside as often.
