Hi I live in kuwait and I'm going to order a radiated tortoise, do I need a tortoise specialist document in order for me to legally keep the radiated tortoise. Is there something I need to do in order for the tortoise to legally enter the country

One more tidbit - Kuwait/Invertebrates, tropical fish, reptiles, amphibia, mammals such as rodents and rabbits are not subject to requirements of rabies vaccination, but may have to meet other requirements and should have a health certificate to enter Kuwait. Pet owners are strongly advised to seek further information from the relevant authority of their country and/or that of the country of destination

Are you ordering a tortoise that is already in Kuwait? Otherwise, from what I understand, there is no way you will get a CITES I permit to export a radiated tortoise out of the US. in fact you won't get one from any law abiding country unless you are doing a Zoo to Zoo transfer, usually initiated by a seizure. Did someone tell you they could legally ship you a radiated tortoise internationally?

Sounds like yes. But from what country is he shipping? Be careful. Very easy to get scammed on such international purchases & shipments.

Walk away from this guy and deal. There is no legal way to get radiated tortoises out of the US. Its becoming impossible to even sell them across state lines legally (CBW permits are quickly becoming a thing of the past).

Agreed. Find one in Kuwait. That’s too long a trip anyway IMHO.
