I think the sweater will work best for a walk about the yard or when guests come over rather than a lounging sweater. I imagine silk or crushed velvet would make better lounge wear ;)

They are so cute, the x & o one is hilarious. The blue one that covers the rear will fill up pretty fast, lol!

It occurred to me that it might be the same person. But then I thought that with all the people in PNW that keep tortoises it might be more common of a thing than I thought.

These sweaters are awesome, I'd recommend them! A great way to keep your tort warm when its not under a heat lamp. I just got a custom one from biochemnerd808 today!

Do they just slip over the shell or are they secured somehow? I'm a beginning knitter, could be fun to try.

But also, tortoises don't provide their own heat they aquire it from their surroundings. So I doubt it would keep them warm for long :p
