Tortoise Table/Paint question.

Has anyone made the Tortoise Table that is shown on russiantortoise.org? If so, was it easy, hard? I am thinking about making it. Could it be painted? Any tortoise safe paints??

Kelsey38, most paints that are water based polyurethane would be fine. Just remember to give it a good week to cure and rid the boards of fumes.

I haven't made that one, but I made one out of plywood in a box shape 5' long, 2' wide by 1' tall. It was made in an hour. As for paint I only use water based paints and I have not had any problems with my pens, and they are outside in the weather.
