My tortoise needs to receive baytril shots for a respiratory infection. I tried but I am not able to administer the shots. I am wondering if I take him to the vet every day so they can give it (5 more days) will this give him trauma?

He'll be stressed, but if the infection is bad enough to need shots, then he needs the shots. Usually, an infection has to be really bad to require meds. Usually, upping the humidity and temp will be enough to help a reptile overcome just about any respiratory issue. Make sure your temps and humidity are higher than normal just to help the tortoise overcome the ailment. Only time I've ever needed a vet for antibiotics was injuries or diet-related disease of malnourished rescues.
