Hey guys over the time I’ve owned him I’ve said this a few times but I just need to ask.

Cool side has been boosted to 29 degrees c, and under heat lamp it’s 37 degrees c (well hot side anyways).

He always gets it after a bath for like 8 full days but this one has lasted like 3 weeks, yes I’ve been bathing him so it could just be a repeating cycle but surely it shouldn’t be like that.

He is eating perfectly fine, he has a great appetite to be honest, he does his walks around and just looks around and then he just chills most of the day. There is the occasional claw at the glass that is probably LET ME OUTTTTT! But he is always chill when I let him just chill with me for 30 mins and then he settles to bed.

My honest thing is I’m not concerned to the point it’s like keeping me up but I thought I’d bring it up. He isn’t getting bubbles in his nose, I have seen a bubble INSIDE of his mouth when he been eating but I purely put that down to him eating as it was courgette.

I don’t really know what to do, he has a brand new cuttle fish bone too I just fancied adding that, I don’t really add calcium powder to his food bc that’s there but maybe I should, his diet is good. So any advice on what to do or maybe that’s just his character lol. I’ve had him for a good year and a little now and he kinda has always had a wheeze of sorts.

Does he sleep on the cooler side? Or closer to CHE?

I would not worry about a single occurence of mouth bubble and wheezing only. More symptoms like lack of appetite, nasal discharge or bubbles, excessive yawning etc. should be seen by vet.

He sleeps on the cooler side 95% of the time, he has twice in the last month or two slept under the che.

I’ve not seen any nasal discharge, I barely ever see him yawn I think I have 5 times in total of owning him and it’s in the morning usually. He eats, sleeps, poops and yeah seems alright. But it’s a never ending wheeze. No idea at all

Some chronic infection like mycoplasma comes to my mind. I see you have posted about this before? Has it gotten better or worse over time? Maybe @turtlesteve @zovick or @Markw84 can help you.
the only thing is, he is not lethargic nor releasing ANY nasal discharge. He has had it a while so surely they would have affected him by now? He eats a LOT, is active and yeah

I would take him to a vet
last time he was taken to a vet, nearest vet is 1 hour away and they were VERY ROUGH. I used AI for once, gave everything and it suggested my humidity levels being low could be the issue. it has been 20-30% humidity so ive boosted it to 60-75% today, ill keep ontop of it for 18 days as I have 18 days off of work
