I’ve probably posted a million of these, but this time it sounds different.

That’s a video of him walking and squeaking, his hot side under lamp is 37 and cool side is 28-30 degrees c to try and get rid of it, he always gets a squeak after a bath? I’m not sure why. Also now he is 2 does he still need high moisture levels because it’s currently 30% humidity what idk is too low now he is older.

It doesn’t sound too bad to me, just like he’s breathing a bit heavier which could be cause he’s grumpy after a soak lol, though granted it’s quite a short clip so a little tricky to tell.

He’s kind of in that inbetween stage where I’d personally keep it a bit higher, but not the full 80 hatchlings have, I’d aim 40-50 🐢💚

Okidoki, thank you.

Btw this is one whole day after the soak, it lasts a few days usually.

I see, if you can possibly get a longer clip next time? Is it just the odd squeak like this then it stops? Or is it constantly like this the whole day?

seems to be all day, sometimes it stops for a bit then starts again.
It doesn’t sound too troubling to me in the video personally, perhaps others will come along and have a look.
If he’s eating and otherwise acting normally, I’m inclined to say it’s nothing of concern, but definitely keep an eye, make sure it doesn’t get worse or any other symptoms develop🐢💚

Could genuinely just be how he breathes, I’ve heard some breathe a little bit louder than others and they’re perfectly healthy, as long as nothing else is out of the ordinary with him, I personally wouldn’t worry too much🥰
