Help squeaking baby tortoise

Help! My baby sulcata tortoise is squeaking and going in and out of his shell real fast and he just started doing this is he ok??

We'll need more info about how you are housing him.

What are your four temps? Warm side, cool side, basking area and overnight low? What equipment are you using for heating and lighting? UV? what type?

What size enclosure? What substrate?

I have a 40 gallon tank with the zoo med lights the UVA and heat lamp. The temperature stays around 80 degrees. The substrate is half zoo med forest floor wood chips and the other half is coconut fiber
