Tortoiseforum app on Android OS devices

I use the app on my Galaxy Nexus phone and when I click to 'load more threads' under the 'current' tab it never really works unless I click refresh after that as well.

I click "Load more threads" and it says "An invalid search was specified. Please go back and try again." So then I hit refresh and they appear. I click load more threads again, the same happens again...

I am thinking of getting an Asus Transformer Infinity (TF700T) and was wondering if the same thing happens for other people on different Android devices. It might be kind of annoying to deal with this on a tablet too since on the iPad app loading more threads works (I use my parents' when I visit them but I'm one of those people that hasn't really become an Applebot. I only got an iPod nano to use while running because there's good accessories for them.)

I don't have that problem on my Razr or my Xoom.
